The season opens with a double header in Billings Montana on May 19 and 20 at Big Sky Speedway. Jerry Brey, owner of Big Sky Speedway, is very excited for the 2023 season, which includes 10 nights of racing and an incredible $12,012 to win, and $512 to start Harvey Ostermiller Memorial on Saturday, August 26. In celebration of a Montana icon, the two-day event will include a Friday night of the two-day event paying $3,000 to win.
After the season opener, the series heads to Great Falls Montana for the first of their five nights for 2023 at Electric City Speedway. May 26 and 27 will feature the Memorial Day Meltdown. While still working on a TBA additional race during the middle of the summer, the series will head back to Electric City Speedway Labor Day weekend for the 27th annual Montana Roundup. Both the series and the track continue to work with sponsors with the intent to announce a very significant and special purse for those three days of racing. All Racers, mark your calendars for this one too!
Finally, our first visit to Belgrade and Gallatin International Speedway will be on Friday June 9, then to Billings on June 10. With continued support of Dave and Sue Weiz, the series will visit a total of three times to Belgrade.
Although not on the Frontier schedule, Stagg Motor Sports has worked with west coast promoters to allow for teams to compete at Speedweek North in late July with no penalty to the Frontier season ending points. This includes the $10,000 to win summer nationals at Skagit Speedway, July 28 and 29. In return, the west coast promoters are encouraging their participant to support our events to include the Harvey Ostermiller Memorial and the following weekend for the Montana Roundup. Traveling teams will be able to spend ten days in Montana, gain five nights of racing, with a vacation to Montana at its most beautiful time.
